Afternoon Tea fundraiser for Galway University Hospitals' arts programme

Lemonade, prosecco, gourmet sandwiches, and desserts

AFTERNOON TEA, a fundraising social event for the Galway University Hospitals' arts programme, takes place in the home of Phyllis MacNamara on Sunday June 24 from 3pm to 6pm.

On arrival, guests will be offered homemade lemonade or prosecco. Guests are free to wander the garden, and gourmet sandwiches and desserts, will be served. The prize for the 'most elegant lady' is a bespoke, original design, sponsored by Emily-Jean, milliner and jewellery designer. There will also be a prize for the best-dressed man. There will also be a raffle.

"We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests to the garden," said Phyllis MacNamara. "Similar to the garden which will be full bloom on June 24; the arts programme under the direction of Margaret Flannery has blossomed and means a great to deal to the hospital community."

Galway University Hospitals Arts Trust was established in 2007 to provide an arts programme for the hospital community. The organisation runs the west of Ireland's leading arts and Health programme as a means of improving the hospital experience for patients, staff, and visitors.
