Padraig Jack returns to The Crane

Singer-songwriter to be joined by members of Rofi James for Galway gig

PADRAIG JACK, the Aran Islands' singer-songwriter, plays his first Galway city show since his sold out concert in The Crane Bar in late 2017, when he returns to the Sea Road venue on Friday, June 24.

For the show Padraig will be joined by members of leading Galway band Rofi James. They will play songs from Padraig's forthcoming album, which he is currently recording in London with John Reynolds. Reynolds has worked with Sinead O’Connor, Damien Dempsey, Brian Eno, and Indigo Girls.

Padraig has played the Westport Bluegrass Festival, the Castlebar Wild Atlantic Words Literary Festival, County Down’s Soma Festival, Belfast’s Liú Lúnasa Festival, and Electric Picnic. He has supported The Saw Doctors and Mick Flannery and been nominated for the NÓS Music Award. Earlier this year he won second prize at the Pan Celtic Song competition for 'i bhFostú sa bhFiántas'.

Support is from Niamh Regan and Keith John. Admission is €10.
