Úna Keane - Galway gig

Pianist-composer to play Black Gate Cultural Centre

ÚNA KEANE, whose minimalist piano music, incorporating live visuals, field recordings, and soundscapes, is coming back to Galway to play the Black Gate Cultural Centre, St Francis Street.

Úna plays the Black Gate on Sunday June 3. She released the album, As I Wake, Still I Dream, which won four star reviews from The Irish Times and The Sunday Times. She cites Nils Frahm and Arvo Pärt among her inspirations. John Kelly said of her: “The sheer beauty of Úna Keane’s music is a testament to the wonderful mysteries of sound. Minimalist, free-form...these compositions take us to that deep sonic space explored by only the very best of musicians."
