Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (Peace Proms) to hold open information meeting for new Galway members

The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI ) was established in 1995 as a peace initiative and is composed of more than 100 exceptionally talented young musicians from all over Ireland and Northern Ireland.

CBOI presents an information event hosted by parents of Galway-based CBOI members, who will answer questions parents or guardians may have about joining the orchestra.

All standards and experience are considered — go along, bring your young musicians, and find out more.

The new members' open information event takes place on Saturday May 26 at 11am at Westside Library, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway.

CBOI is all inclusive and there is no audition process. You do not need to be a great musician to join the CBOI but you need to be very committed to all rehearsals and performances so that you can become a great musician. Through their dedication and commitment over the years, the CBOI’s members have become outstanding young musicians as well as exceptional role models and young ambassadors for Ireland.

Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland offers exceptional opportunities for young musicians:
