Galway Street Club - Irish tour, Róisín's gig

Back from Germany, band hit the road for an Irish tour

FOLLOWING THE release of their debut album and subsequent busking-tour of Germany, Galway Street Club have returned to Irish shores for a four-date nationwide tour, taking in Limerick, Cork, Dublin, and of course, Galway.

Galway Street Club will bring to Ireland’s clubs the same electric atmosphere they bring to city streets, and they are sure to rake in even bigger crowds than the enthralled pedestrians who fill their guitar cases with change.

A band that regularly packs Galway’s famous Róisín Dubh to capacity, this tour sees Galway Street Club bringing the full complement of the band to the stage. With more members, more instruments and more songs, these shows will be some of GSC’s most ambitious yet, and will feature songs from the Sovereign State Of Madness album.

Galway Street Club play the Róisín Dubh on Sunday June 3 at 8pm. Admission is €5. Support is from New Mexico band Gleewood, who are steeped in the vintage blues-vibes of Led Zeppelin, White Stripes, and Black Angels.
