'B for Bosco - that's me!'

See Bosco at the Town Hall Theatre

BOSCO IS not a boy, nor a girl. Bosco is just Bosco. The gender fluid puppet, an icon of 1980s Irish TV and enjoying a new lease of life with young children via theatre shows, returns to Galway.

Paula Lambert Puppet Theatre present Bosco’s Garden & Hansel and Gretel in the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday May 13 at 2pm and 4pm. Entertaining children and adults for more than four decades, the Lambert Puppet Theatre is widely recognised as the premier touring puppet theatre company in Ireland. From its beginnings, the Lambert family has been involved with RTÉ, working the hugely popular series Wanderly Wagon, featuring the late Eugene Lambert. Paula Lambert was the puppeteer for Bosco on TV for 17 years.

The Irish Examiner has called the show "slapstick, silly, and utterly spectacular from start to finish". For tickets contact the Town Hall (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
