Art exhibition says YES to Repeal

30+ artists from across Galway to show support for YES vote on May 25 through the Art for Change exhibition

MORE THAN 30 artists from across Galway will show their support of a YES vote on May 25 through the Art for Change exhibition, which opens next week in the 126 artist-run gallery.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday May 16 to Sunday 20 and will feature artwork in a variety of media. The gallery will be open to the public from 12 noon to 6pm.

On Sunday 20 at 3.30pm, the exhibition concludes with a raffle of donated pieces and an auction of selected works. The event will be MCed by Lelia Doolin. It is supported by a number of groups and individuals including AMACH! LGBT Galway, 126 Artists-run gallery, the national Artists’ Campaign – Repeal the 8th, and features the ‘In her Shoes’ project and the ‘Everyday Stories’ project. All proceeds will go to the Galway Together for Yes campaign. Admission and entry to the raffle is €5.
