Kumon Galway City West offers targeted support in class and self-learning empowerment. Students sit a free assessment to find their ‘just right’ start point and follow an individualised study plan on paper or on tablet. The student does a small amount of work at home each day and attends class once a week.

Children’s progress is unlimited when they study at their ‘just right’ level. When children are able to do their work on their own, whatever that level may be, they can move forwards at a much smoother pace than if they are not able to do the work by themselves. By giving students the ‘just right’ work for them, they can exceed adults' expectations. Kumon wants children to experience the joy of learning new things and to realise that there is no limit to how far they can advance.
