South Connacht Citizens Information Service (SCCIS), provides an independent, non-judgemental, and confidential information, advice/assistance and advocacy service to the public. In 2022, the service responded to over 56,000 queries regionally via phone, email and face-to-face consultations.

During Carers Week we celebrate the valuable contribution made by carers in our local communities, in particular the ways in which carers support older and dependent people to continue to live in the familiar surroundings of their own homes. South Connacht Citizens Information Service is delighted to announce the resumption of drop-in services at its offices from November 1. Throughout the Covid19 pandemic, South Connacht Citizens Information Service has continued to delivery crucial information, advice and advocacy services to the public. However due to public health considerations, in-person services have been limited.

Due to Covid-19 and Government restrictions, South Connacht Citizens Information Service has temporarily suspended drop-in services at your local Citizens Information Centre. Like many other organisations they are doing our best to provide services remotely at this time.
