Today, Friday October 2, sees the official opening of the expansion at Horkan’s Lifestyle and Garden Centre in Turlough. The centre has been extended by 12,000sq ft, 8,000sq ft of which has already been occupied by a new expansive gift area, plus units leased to Edinburgh Woollen Mills and the Bayleaf Restaurant. Since opening in April this year, these new additions to the Horkan’s offeringd have gone from strength to strength.

A church gate collection will take place at all Masses in the Castlebar district this weekend with proceeds going to Mayo Cancer Support Association, Rock Rose House.
