Fashion show in Horkan’s, Turlough

Today (October 2 ) the new 12,000sq ft extension at Horkan’s Lifestyle and Garden Centre in Turlough will be officially opened with a fashion show taking place to mark the occasion.

The fashion show will start at 7.30pm with local models, including James Kilbane, presenting a fine display of quality fashion from the Edinburgh Woollen Mills, which is part of the next extension of the store.

There will also be music, fun, and pink champagne to highlight breast cancer awareness. Tickets for prize draws for a fabulous hamper full of goodies as well as vouchers for Horkans Garden Centre and Edinburgh Woollen Mills will be available with all fundraising proceeds going to the Mayo Cancer Support Association, Rock Rose House, Castlebar. The evening is completely free and the whole team at Horkan's Lifestyle and Garden Centre are looking forward to seeing their customers new and old on the night.

Rock Rose House offers emotional support and practical help to people with cancer, their families, and friends. It is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm and is situated directly across from Mayo General Hospital. All services provided are free of charge. These services include professional counselling, therapeutic massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, stress management, relaxation workshops, and style and image workshops.
