The business end of the senior football championship has arrived with the two semi-finals down for decision this weekend.

There are three big games down for decision this weekend in the senior ranks. On Friday night in Cusack Park C/F/C/W take on Killucan in the relegation play-off. Both sides have been affected by missing players all year and were likely candidates for this fixture from a long way out.

Westmeath ladies footballers had eight points to spare (1-15 to 1-7) after an impressive performance in which they made little of their underdog tag. Martin Flanagan’s side were full value for their win after a wholehearted and hardworking display.
