Westmeath v Mayo (Pearse Park, Longford, Saturday, 2pm )
Having already caused a mini-shock with a well-deserved win over Donegal, Westmeath ladies will be hoping to maintain their winning ways against Mayo when the sides meet in Longford on Saturday in round two of the qualifiers.
Martin Flanagan’s side won a lot of admirers with their all-action display which propelled them to victory over Donegal. They will need an equally hard-working performance if they are to upset the odds against the likes of Cora Staunton and company.
Yet with a clean bill of health and confidence high in the camp, the Westmeath ladies will fancy their chances of taking another scalp.
