A special presentation ceremony was held for the prizewinners in the Kilbeggan Library Christmas Colouring Competition ahead of Christmas week. The competition was organised by local library staff Margaret Egan and Ray Hussey and the prizes were presented by Gearoid O’Brien, senior executive librarian, Westmeath County Library Service representing the county librarian.

IN 1974, Galway County Libraries set up a service for the blind and visually impaired to allow them enjoy the benefits of the library.
