Practical classes in beginning Spanish will start again next week at the Language Institute in the Granary Learning Centre. These 12-week courses are designed to give students the words and phrases they will need to visit Spain or Latin America with ease and confidence.

The Granary Learning Centre is offering a convenient way to complete a beginner course in Spanish, German, or Italian over six weekend days in May and June. By the end of the course the student will achieve A1 level in language competence according to the European ranking scheme. Class times are scheduled to allow attendees to travel to Galway in the morning and be home again by the evening. Each course is taught by two qualified teachers who are both native speakers with many years of experience.
