The Granary Learning Centre in Galway is offering a convenient way to complete a beginner course in Spanish, German, or Italian over five weekend days in March, or April and May. By the end of the course the student will achieve the A1 level in language competence according to the European ranking scheme.
The class times are scheduled to allow attendees to travel to Galway in the morning and be home again by the evening. Each course is taught by two qualified teachers who are both native speakers with many years of experience.
Also on offer is a one-weekend course in practical Polish especially developed for supporters travelling to the European Cup finals in June.
The classes start at 10am on either Saturday or Sunday during five consecutive weekends. There will be four, one and a half hour teaching blocks during the day with breaks between each for refreshment and relaxation. The classes finish by 5.15pm allowing everyone to be home by dinner time.
The school is located directly by the River Corrib in Galway city centre. The class rooms are quiet, modern, and equipped with Interactive White Boards and internet access. Courses are extremely practical, focusing mainly on speaking and listening. Of course if students want to further develop their language skills after the course there are follow on courses planned.
