The underages races will start at 12pm and this will be followed by the senior, junior, and intermediate races. Over 400 school girls and boys converged on Ballina Athletic Club in Belleek last Thursday for the annual North Mayo cross country championships. Weather conditions were excellent which helped make the day more enjoyable for all. The Mayo National Schools Cross Country Championships took place in Belleek, Ballina yesterday, Thursday October 6 and qualifiers from that competition will go on to compete in the Connacht Championships in Dangan, Galway in on October 15 at 1pm.
