Almost €17 million in funding announced for national roads in Mayo
Minister of State for Tourism and Sport in the Department of Transport Michael Ring has welcomed the news that almost €17 million will be spent on national roads in Mayo next year. Minister Ring said: “Significant amounts of money have been allocated to different roads in County Mayo. I welcome this funding. The N5 Westport to Turlough road has been allocated €800,000. The N59 Westport to Mulranny has been allocated €3.5 million. This considerable level of funding is to be warmly welcomed for works which are urgently required on those roads”
