New preschool and afterschool to open in St Patrick's NS

A new preschool and afterschool will open at St Patrick's Primary School this September. The new service will cater for preschool children aged three to five years and offers the free ECCE childcare scheme. The service will also provide afterschool care to children of St Pat's and surrounding schools. A breakfast club will be available for boys attending St Pat's.

It warned: “This flawed sick pay proposal would be fatal for jobs in the childcare sector if implemented, forcing half of Ireland’s crèches and preschools out of business and driving thousands of people onto the dole queue. Minister Richard Bruton must face up to the anti jobs nature of this dangerous proposal.”
