Good Friday Holy Well walk
A walk to Tobarmacduagh Holy Well and a short prayer service will commence at 11am on Good Friday, April 3 at Clogher Community Centre, Clogher. Tobermacduagh Holy Well is situated in Killeen townland in the parish of Drum. The name is ascribed to Colman-Mac-Duagh, who lived at the beginning of the seventh century.
Get Active Clogher
Following on from the success of Operation Transformation Mayo last year, Clogher Environmental Group is continuing with the walking programme entitled Get Active Clogher, each Saturday commencing at Clogher Heritage Centre at 10.30am. This walking programme is organised in liaison with Mayo Sports Partnership and Operation Transformation and the campaign is also supported by Mayo County Council in conjunction with Mayo Rural Alliances.
Tidy Towns competition
SuperValu retailers in Mayo are calling on the county to get behind this year’s SuperValu TidyTowns competition. Last year there were 37 entries from Mayo with Westport winning the overall county award, in addition Bridie Moran of Westport TidyTowns was recognised as a SuperValu TidyT owns Hero for 2012.
Clogher hosts successful Walk and Talk weekend
The Walk and Talk weekend organised by Clogher Environmental Group in conjunction with Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail and Sláinte Ireland Tours was a tremendous success.

The National Spring Clean campaign is continuing with the people of Mayo out in force organising a variety of fantastic clean up events in the county.
