Cancer Care West supported over 2,800 cancer patients and their families throughout 2023, with more than half of these patients being newly diagnosed. As the charity marked its 30th anniversary, the numbers supported reflect both a rising need and the essential role Cancer Care West plays in the lives of thousands of people across the West and Northwest of Ireland.

The Cancer Care West Support Centre in Galway has announced their Peer Support Group Winter schedule. Galway GAA has announced details of its ‘March for Maroon’ fundraiser which will take place this month.

Oranmore software company, Channel Mechanics were delighted to have Cancer Care West visit the office for a presentation to the charity of €10,801. The presentation cheque being the result of a Channel Mechanics Charity fundraiser which saw the company clock up just over 4,050 kms along with their “Donate a Day” event.
