Hidden Hearing’s state-of-the-art hearing centre at 2 John Broderick Street, Athlone, is hosting a coffee morning on Friday, November 6, at 10am to celebrate their new Hearing Wellness Programme.
Hidden Hearing Athlone, led by Martin Shanagher, senior hearing aid audiologist, believes that everyone above the age of 55 deserves a free baseline hearing screening or free earwax removal as part of their overall health and wellness regime. Martin will be giving a talk on how to look after your hearing health as well as conducting hearing and wax checks on the morning.
A free earwax removal service will also be available to those above the age of 55. Hidden Hearing’s Wellness Programme wants to give hearing advice for those who are 55 and over. There is research to suggest that hearing loss is consistently linked to physical, mental, and emotional health conditions, but the good news is that people whose hearing loss is treated often report benefits.
