Keep the Irish fireside storytelling tradition burning and don’t forget to enter the Zip Fireside Short Stories competition.
Zip is seeking entries from keen writers for its short story competition, details of which were published in last week’s paper.
The winning tale will be published in the Athlone Advertiser and Mullingar Advertiser and on Zip’s fantastic, interactive website www.zipfires.ie The lucky author will also win a luxury weekend away for two to the Dunguaire Castle medieval banquets, complete with accommodation, travel, and spending money. The successful author will also receive a year’s supply of Zip’s new Energy+ firelighters to help ignite a cosy fire on those cold, dark winter nights.
