All 70s babies will love the latest collection from Wrangler, who have delved deep into the archives to revive more of their cult heritage denim designs.
For women, this season sees the return of 70s high waists and flares, reminiscent of Wrangler’s nostalgic heydays. The denim range includes key features such as front pockets, off-set belt loops, and burnished rivets. Denim and fine cord also appear in vibrant plum and rust colours. Tops feature vintage prints and styles such as the rainbow design and geometric and floral prints. A feminine twist has been bestowed upon the traditional western style shirt in varying prints.
And for men, Wrangler has also revived the classic ‘Wrancher’, a casual pant finished in a flat fabric reminiscent of a classic American chino, and corduroys in muted natural tones. Vintage washes and rinses are prominent, as is dry denim and pressed pleating. Men’s tops are chunky using thicker and more durable two yarns knits. Check shirts feature more heavily than ever, and detailing includes embossing on buttons, stitching techniques, and embroidered icons.
