To celebrate 15 years in business, the popular Left Bank Bistro in the heart of Old Athlone is delighted to announce the introduction of its new tapas menu and wine bar.
With 22 wines now available by the glass and a wide selection of tapas on the menu, as well as a full bar licence, the new venture adds an exciting dimension to the restaurant’s already fine offering.
The tapas, including such delicious options as sauteed garlic potatoes with serrano, and bruschetta of aubergine, rocket, and shaved parmesan, have been carefully selected to complement the existing early bird menu, which also offers two courses for €20 and three courses for €25.
The dinner menu has also expanded to include several new dishes, including spicy buffalo wings with blue cheese dipping sauce, a selection of ribs, and a nightly fish card with various fish options.
The regular lunch menu, with its many well-known favourites such as duck confit and tandoori chicken, also includes daily specials. A range of the most popular lunch dishes, plus dessert, are now available for just €15 Tuesday to Friday.
