In keeping with their drive to expand the services currently being provided, and their desire to increase their profile as a caring and confidential organisation, Cura are now launching their new Postnatal Support Service for new mothers in Athlone.
“This service will offer support or help to any new mother who may feel isolated or overwhelmed in her new role. We can offer her a safe place where she can voice her concerns and doubts and where we can enable her and link her with other support services,” said Hazel Sherlock, co-ordinator of the Athlone centre.
Cura services include pregnancy testing, pregnancy counselling, support services throughout pregnancy, and many more. The local Athlone centre is located at ‘Shalom’, St Mary’s Place, Athlone.
Opening hours are Monday and Wednesday 11am-1pm and Monday to Friday 6-7pm.
