Kildare business woman Noelle O’Connor, owner of Elau Beauty Salon Chain, is having great success with her organic tanning product, Tan Organic. The product was launched in May 2010 and can now be found in Weirs Pharmacy, Market Square, Mullingar.
In January Noelle secured investment on RTE's Dragons Den from Gavin Duffy, who invested for a 45 per cent share. Noelle holds the record for having been before the Dragons for almost two-and-half hours.
Noelle had invested a great deal of time and financial investment in the product herself before she went before the Dragons, using her two existing businesses, a chain of salons called Ealu and a cosmetic distribution business, Skinlogic, to help her finance research into an organic tanning product.
