Burt’s Bees bucking sales trends

Burt’s Bees, the earth-friendly natural personal care company, has revealed some good news this week with its sales figures bucking trends.

While Irish retail sales are down by 8.2 per cent over the past year, Burt’s Bees sales are up 8 per cent for the second quarter of this year.

Items that have proved most popular include lip balms, face and personal care products, with the company’s Baby Bee range doing particularly well.

Emma Jeffcock, the representative for Burt’s Bees in Ireland said: “We are delighted to see that Irish people are choosing to buy honestly natural products for their own personal care and for that of their babies.”

Burt’s Bees has been offering distinctive all-natural products and marketing them as affordable luxuries and gifts for the last 25 years.
