National Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s face-to-face family carer training makes return

Insights into Dementia provides positive and practical training, aiming to develop family carers’ knowledge of Alzheimer’s and other dementias and their caring skills to enable them to respond more confidently to their family members’ needs.

“Carers often must navigate the consequences of a dementia diagnosis in their families with little or no practical information to support them. This training aims to help carers understand the condition and increase their confidence in the ability to care. We are pleased to see our Face-to-Face Family Carer training resume in Sligo and welcome family carers of people living with dementia to sign up for the course,” ASI Family Carer Training Coordinator Christine Carr, said.
