Grow continues to grow in Athlone

Having re-established itself in Athlone in recent months, Grow are now delighted to be able to announce a second support group for the community.

This will be taking place on Monday mornings from 11am to 1pm in the newly renovated Family Resource Centre on O’Connell Street. The Centre recently took over the old St Vincent de Paul building and will be hosting numerous activities and supports in addition to the introduction of the Grow support group.

The Wednesday evening group will continue to take place in the National Learning Network in Belhavel, from 7pm to 9pm every week. Potential members are welcome to reach out to the local co-ordinator, John Madden, via phone (086 4411358 ) or email ([email protected] ) if they would like more information.

Alternatively, they can turn up to the meetings to see if it is the right fit for them. The focus of the meetings is recovery and support, and for a lot of people, a space where they can talk openly and freely without judgement, and in a place of understanding. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step. Grow can be there to assist you with those steps.
