Essential foot care provided by The Galway Podiatrist

The Galway Podiatrist - Foot and Ankle Clinic deals with the assessment, treatment and diagnosis of conditions of the lower limb and foot.

It includes routine skin and nail care (callus, corns, verrucas, skin and nail infections ) and will offer specialist podiatry treatment including gait analysis, biomechanical assessments, lower limb and diabetic foot examinations, ingrown toenail procedures, lower limb dry needling, insole and orthotic provision, wound/ulcer treatment and footwear advice.

The Galway Podiatrist – Foot and Ankle Clinic is owned and run by podiatrist, Aoife Reilly. Since graduating in 2016 with a BSc in Podiatric Medicine, Aoife has worked in both public settings (HSE, NHS ) and private practice facilities throughout Ireland, the UK and Australia. Aoife has gained a vast amount of clinical experience in treating a diverse range of individuals, to include athletes, children, vulnerable adults and chronically ill patients.

Aoife aims to promote and maintain the mobility of her patients. As a keen participant in gaelic football, Aoife understands how important it is to be at your best.

Aoife is driven by her passion to help others and had utilised her Podiatry skills in varying and challenging environments, having volunteered in ‘Little Angel’s Orphanage Nepal’, in 2013.

Focusing on a patient centred approach, Aoife is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her patients and maintaining optimum mobility.
