Sixty miles a month clocked up lulling baby to sleep

New research by Pampers has found that some Irish parents can walk up to two miles a day in an effort to lull their baby back to sleep, clocking up more than 60 miles a month. Parents in Mayo were also included in the nationwide survey, with over half of all parents spending at least 15 minutes soothing their baby back to sleep each time.

Sixty-four per cent of Irish parents have cited the lack of sleep as the most stressful part of becoming a new parent with some 70 per cent stating their baby wakes between one and three times each night.

Bereavement event in Castlebar
