The winner of the 2024 Gradam awards organised by Gaillimh le Gaeilge (GleG) will be announced at an event in the Hardiman Hotel on Monday evening.

Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr Clodagh Higgins unveiled this year’s sponsors for Gradam 2023 at a press event hosted by Gaillimh le Gaeilge in the Galway Chamber, to formally open the nomination stage of the Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh competition.

Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh, Galway’s bilingual business award, was officially launched by Uachtarán Ollscoil na hÉireann, Gaillimh, an tOllamh Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh who said the competition is very much in keeping with the core values of the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Almost 20 businesses and organisations representing a wide range of sectors have put their names forward for Galway’s bilingual business awards - Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2019. The Gradam is organised by Gaillimh le Gaeilge in association with the Galway Advertiser and TG4 and with support from the Galway Chamber.

Tomorrow, Friday, February 22, is the closing date for nominations for Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh - Galway’s bilingual business award. Aire Stáit Seán Kyne TD do Ghnóthaí Pobail, Acmhainní Nádúrtha agus Forbairt Dhigiteach will this evening (Thursday) announce the Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh category winners and the overall winner for 2018 at the grand final in the Rockbarton Suite, Salthill Hotel.
