GALWAY FRINGE Festival will present an outdoor programme of creative arts activities throughout Galway city and county during the autumn.

THE GALWAY Fringe Festival - normally an event on the streets, stages, and venues of the city - is moving online this year to provide "a creative digital space for new and emerging artists to get on a virtual stage and share their talents despite pandemic woes".

THE GALWAY Fringe Festival will come in two forms this year - a physical form featuring art exhibitions throughout this month, and a virtual form with online shows in September.

THE EIGHTH Galway Fringe Festival runs from Sunday July 15 to Monday 30, with a programme boasting free and ticketed events across all art forms including theatre, visual art, music, film, comedy and spoken word.

THE GALWAY Fringe Festival has revealed its programme for this year’s event which runs from July 15 to 30. The Fringe is celebrating its sixth birthday and is set to be the largest the city has seen yet, with more than 100 events, including theatre, visual art, poetry, music, comedy, street spectacles, spoken word, and children’s events, across 18 venues.
