South Connacht Citizens Information Service is delighted to announce the resumption of drop-in services at its offices from November 1. Throughout the Covid19 pandemic, South Connacht Citizens Information Service has continued to delivery crucial information, advice and advocacy services to the public. However due to public health considerations, in-person services have been limited.

The Simon Communities of Ireland’s has published two research reports: ‘The Experiences of Simon Community Service Users During the Pandemic’ and ‘Sustaining the Accelerant?: The response of Simon Communities to Four Waves of the Covid-19 Pandemic’.

Due to Covid-19 and Government restrictions, South Connacht Citizens Information Service has temporarily suspended drop-in services at your local Citizens Information Centre. Like many other organisations they are doing our best to provide services remotely at this time.

In response to changing trends in access to, and in the take-up of services, Cura Crisis Pregnancy Support Services has announced the restructuring of its services designed to continue to meet the contemporary needs of clients, while maintaining Cura’s caring, compassionate and professional approach. This will see all services now based at four centres nationwide, including one in Galway.
