Influential British motoring consumer magazine What Car? has compiled a list of the most economical SUVs in its rigorous ‘True MPG’ Road Tests, and the most fuel efficient SUV which it has tested has been the Honda CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC diesel, returning 5.0l/100km (56.5mpg).

The Kia cee'd achieved a stunning debut result of fourth overall in the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates/What Car? Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS), with a score of 83.8 per cent, finishing just behind luxury vehicles from Lexus and Jaguar. The cee'd also topped the ‘Lower medium car' segment ahead of vehicles such as the BMW 1 Series and the Skoda Octavia.
