Carlow athletes perform well at the Leinster cross-country championships
Laura Scriven and Catherine Rudenko (both from St Laurence O'Toole AC) competed with distinction at the Leinster cross-country championships held in the picturesque grounds of Avondale house, Rathdrum, Wicklow on Sunday last. Laura finished in 4th place in the ladies novice race while Catherine was 12th. These girls were strongly supported by team-mates Pamela Donoghue, Kathleen Kinsella & Maria O'Rourke in the ladies race.

Maryanne O’Sullivan (Tinryland) had a superb run in finishing third from a field of over 80 athletes in the U16 All-Ireland cross-country championships held at the weekend in Tramore, Waterford.
