Castlebar and Mayo look forward to a Summer of Music as The World Fleadh Kicks off on Friday July 31 2009 and runs to Saturday August 8. With a host of venues including The Royal Theatre, Linenhall Theatre, The Welcome Inn Hotel, GMIT and many bars around the town this Fleadh is sure to draw the crowds. Mayo County Council Arts Office Summer Music Series drew to a rapturous close in the spectacular setting of the Friary in Ballyhaunis. Matt Molloy, John Carty and Arty McGlynn treated the audience to a feast of traditional music.
