Luckily for her, she was rescued by MADRA (Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption) and instead of giving birth on the side of a road, her puppies were born in the comfort of a loving foster home.

On Monday morning of this week Lough Ree RNLI was requested by the Coast Guard to go to the assistance of four people on board a stranded cruiser near Clonminch Island on the lake, bringing to 19 the number of people assisted in six incidents this week.
