O’Donnellan and Joyce will hold the biggest property auction experienced in Galway city at the end of the month, placing up for sale a total of 17 properties, all at knock-down prices. With a diverse range of homes, potential buyers will encounter a mix of executor sales, private sales, and must-sell properties.

The Victoria Hotel was bursting at the seams as an unprecedented crowd arrived at the hotel all eager to witness the first O’Donnellan & Joyce auction of the season. The excitement was palpable among the crowd and at one stage there was a bit of an anxious moment when bidders were afraid their bids would be missed because the crowd was so large.

O’Donnellan & Joyce will commence its 2011 auction campaign with four properties at enormous discount prices. Last year the company recorded the highest level of sales by public auction of any auctioneering company in Ireland, and the highest rate of success with 80 per cent of properties sold either during the auction or immediately afterwards.
