It is all about doing something colourful this year on 1 Day for Rehab and leading the way are Polly and Dolly, the two 1 Day for Rehab motors that are travelling the country looking for your signature. 1 Day for Rehab is sponsored by Covidien, a leading global provider of healthcare products. The Polly mobile will be cruising into Westport and Castlebar from May 31 to June 2. Children and grown-ups will have the opportunity to show their support for people with disabilities, and others who are marginalised, by signing the car and making a donation of just €2 to support local Rehab services in Mayo.

Rehab seeks Westmeath volunteers for Five Peaks
Rehab is calling on Westmeath adventurers and all those with an interest in the outdoors to sign up for the ultimate challenge of 2012, while at the same time raising money for HeadsUp, Rehab’s youth suicide prevention project. The Five Peaks Challenge takes place over three days, from August 3 -5, with participants climbing the five highest mountains in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales.
Westmeath National Learning Network centres earn European Excellence award
Rehab’s training services delivered by National Learning Network have become the first in Ireland to earn the EQUASS Excellence Award. National Learning Network provides services in Athlone and Mullingar. National Learning Network offers over 40 different training programmes for people who are distanced from the labour market with some 5,000 students accessing courses around the country each year.
