Galway Camera Clubs 2024/25 Seasons opening night will take place next Thursday September 19 from 7.30pm and all are welcome. Due to upgrading works at the Club’s traditional venue the club has moved the location for meetings to The Knocknacarra Community Rooms at the Tesco Shopping Complex ,Kingstown Road, Knocknacarra Galway H91 E7KW.

Westport based photographer Micheal McLaughlin headed home from the The Irish Professional Photographers and Videographers Association (IPPVA) awards last Sunday night with four awards for his work.

Three Galway photographers were rewarded for the excellence of their work at the annual awards of the Press Photographers Association of Ireland last weekend.

The Press Photographer of the Year 2017 is now on display at AIB in Lynch's Castle on Shop St. A grand total of 124 images is available to be viewed by the public, featuring winning photographs from the Press Photographer of the Year awards.
