The semi-finalists for the Windows and Rooflights Senior A Championship has been decided after an exciting weekend of Camogie.
Thomas' and Sarsfield into last four in camogie championship race
St Thomas and Sarsfields have booked themselves a spot in the semi finals of the Windows and Rooflights LTD Senior A Championship while Ardrahan will take on Athenry and Oranmore Maree will take on Mullagh in the quarter finals. Carnmore and Davitts will have to go to battle in the relegation final.
Hotting up in the camogie championships
It was another busy weekend in the Senior A, B and Intermediate camogie championships. In the Senior A competition, Carnmore and St Thomas recorded their first victories of the championship while Athenry and Sarsfields continued their unbeaten run. In the Senior B contest, Kinvara and Shamrocks had to split the spoils while Mountbellew recorded their first win in the seniors ranks. There were also wins for Clarinbridge and Castlegar. Finally in the Intermediate championship, there were victories for Ahascragh Caltra, Killimor and St Colmans while Cappataggle and Abbeyknockmoy had to share the points.
Exciting weekend in the camogie championships
It was an exciting weekend in the Senior A, B and Intermediate camogie championships with some close battles throughout the games. Sarsfields, Mullagh and Athenry made it two wins from two while Ardrahan registered their first win of the championship. There were back to back wins for Salthill Knocknacarra and Shamrocks in the Senior B championship while Castlegar came late to overcome Eyrecourt for their first points and Craughwell and Clarinbridge shared the spoils. Meanwhile in the intermediate championship, there were wins for Killimor, Ahascragh Caltra and Pearses while Abbeyknockmoy and Liam Mellows had to split the points.

The Galway Senior, Intermediate and Junior championships kicked off over the last week with some very interesting ties taking place.
