The Special Needs Youth Club is a new initiative brought about by the Maple Youth Centre, Ballinrobe, to provide warm, friendly environment for young people with special needs to come and meet new people in the community.

A three act comedy, It’s the Real McCoy, written and directed by Tommy Marren, will be staged in Kilmaine Community Centre on Thursday September 20 at 8pm.

Iarnród Éireann has announced the winners of 100 free trips on its services as part of its community initiative, The Journey’s On Us. More than 700 organisations from right across the community, voluntary, and sporting sectors applied. The winners were chosen with the help of Volunteers Centres Ireland and The Wheel.
