For its eleventh outing, Ballinasloe-based artist collective Group 8 will hold the opening of its annual exhibition, UNBOUND, on Culture Night, Friday, September 17, at 7pm, in Artisan Alley at the Town Hall Theatre, Ballinasloe.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Ballinasloe based artist collective Group 8 hosted the opening of its annual exhibition, LEONARDO 500, in the Church Gallery, Ballinalsoe Library, on Tuesday evening.

THIS YEAR marks the quincentenary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, and a new exhibition will feature writing, paintings, photography, textiles, ceramics, and sculpture inspired by his work.

Culture Night is Ireland’s national celebration of culture, creativity and the arts. It takes place all over Galway city and county on Friday 21st September and sparkles well into the night.
