The group is made up of writers from various travel and lifestyle magazines and websites, as well as regional newspapers in France, with a combined audience of over two million readers - or potential French holidaymakers for Westmeath and Ireland.

The group are in Ireland to attend Meitheal 2011, the annual travel trade workshop organised by Fáilte Ireland, in conjunction with Tourism Ireland. Meitheal is one of the largest tourism trade workshops and the most important event of the Irish tourism calendar.
