FOLLOWING A successful run at the Hollywood Fringe festival where he picked up two awards for his show, The King of Soho and Other Stories, Jack Lukeman is back in Ireland for a nationwide tour that takes in Galway.

There's a host of entertainment to be had at the Tuar Ard centre in Moate during the rest of the month.

A few years back, the man with the velvety voice, Jack L, performed a show called Chez Jack L, based on the music of a composer he admired greatly, Jacque Brel. It was an astonishing show and an enormous hit. Scheduled to run for three weeks in Dublin, the original show ran for four sell-out months followed by a smash hit run throughout Ireland and Europe.

Acclaimed Irish artist Jack Lukeman – aka Jack L – will play in Kilkenny’s Set Theatre on Saturday October 22.

Jack L will make his first visit to The Royal Theatre in a long time when he performs there on Saturday July 23. Upcoming highlights throughout this year for Jack will include a series of shows in The National Concert Hall to celebrate its 25th anniversary in November.

Following his recent performance with the Brooklyn Philharmonic in Manhattan, Jack L aka Jack Lukeman brings his unmistakable talent to Mullingar Arts Centre tonight, Friday March 26 to celebrate the release of his new album, The Story So Far- The Essential Collection.

Jack L is now one of Ireland’s best known and best loved performers and he will be appearing at the Royal Castlebar Theatre and Event Centre on Thursday December 4.Jack Lukeman is, in his own words, “an independent singer/ songwriter/ entertainer/ mc/ bad dancer/ storyteller/ transcendental intergalactic mind- travelling bard from the Emerald Isle and I am slowly but surely invading the rest of the known galaxy with word and song. “Jack’s music ranges from the intimate to the epic and he tries to cover all music landscapes with his wonderful voice leading the charge.

Jack L is returning to Kilkenny for a festive gig in Kilkenny’s newest Theatre on John St - The Set.
