Filmed cinema screening for schools at Roscommon Arts Centre

Filmed, a new initiative of Roscommon Arts Centre, presents an eclectic mix of films selected specifically for secondary school students (senior cycle and transition year). In conjunction with the Irish Film Institute, the Arts Centre is offering this exciting and educational six-week film programme throughout November and December. Introducing Irish-made films, foreign language films, historical documentaries, and a presentation by the award-winning Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon, many of the selected films are accompanied by study guides.

Athlone IT students fare well at film awards ceremony
