This year saw a record breaking response to the call for entries, with more than 600 submissions made from young Irish acts hoping to take part in the tour. After much serious deliberation, IMRO has announced the dates, venues, and line-ups for the 2011 IMRO Showcase Tour.

The Róisín Dubh has again won the IMRO Connacht Live Music Venue of the Year Award, beating off competition from the five other counties in the province.

The Róisín Dubh and the Town Hall Theatre have both been shortlisted for the 2010 IMRO National Live Music Venue of the Year Award.
