One night for all — as city marks culture night

Galway City Culture Night takes place on Friday 23 September. Galway City will host over 50 events with 200 artists participating in a diverse programme of visual arts, music, film and storytelling.

BALLINASLOE, AND its surroundings, are the inspiration behind a new audio visual work, Zones of Transit, created by two east Galway artists, and which will be launched next week.

Culture Night is Ireland’s national celebration of culture, creativity and the arts. It takes place all over Galway city and county on Friday 21st September and sparkles well into the night. A NEW work by the Irish sound artist and composer, Francis Heery, commissioned by the Galway County Council, will be performed in Yeats' Castle, Thoor Ballylee, Gort, on Friday September 21 for Culture Night.
